Vanhan Joulutori Christmas Market is open 15–22 December 2026.
Monday–Thursday and Sunday: 11 am–7 pm
Friday–Saturday: 11 am–8 pm

Accessibility
The accessible entrance for people with mobility impairments and baby strollers is located on the Kaivopiha side of the building, to the left when looking at the main entrance.
The historic Great Hall at Vanha is accessible.
How to get there?
Vanhan Joulutori Christmas Market is easy to reach by public transport in Helsinki.
Helsinki Central Railway Station is only a couple of minutes’ walk away, and the Ylioppilastalo tram stop is just a stone’s throw from the market.
Baby carriages & strollers
The whole family is warmly welcome to Vanhan Joulutori Christmas Market!
During the busiest times, especially in the evenings and at weekends, you may need to leave your stroller on the café side of the building.
Café
Vanha Café is open throughout the Christmas market, so you can enjoy coffee, traditional Finnish mulled wine, refreshments, pastries and a delicious lunch during your visit.
