Vanhan Joulutori Christmas Market 15–22 December 2026 – Vendor Spaces and Terms & Conditions
Location: Mannerheimintie 3, 00100 Helsinki (next to Stockmann)
Opening hours:
Monday–Thursday and Sunday 11 am–7 pm
Friday–Saturday 11 am–8 pm
Admission to the event is free.
There are 143 vendor spaces available – apply early!
You can book more than one space.
Your Vendor Space Includes
– You may set up your stall according to your own design within the boundaries of your allocated space.
Your own back walls are permitted. Please be considerate of neighbouring vendors, as the vendor spaces do not have partitions between them.
– Electricity, one chair and one table are included. Please bring any extension cords you may need.
– Posters and other materials may only be attached to the walls of Vanha Ylioppilastalo (Old Studen House) using Blu Tack.
The building is a protected historic property. A charge of €750 per mark or damage caused will be invoiced to the vendor.
– Visibility on the Vanhan Joulutori Christmas Market website.

There are traditionally five different vendor space sizes. Spaces are available on both the ground floor and upper floor.

Application and Terms
Applications are accepted throughout the year. We reserve the right to select vendors in order to ensure a diverse and interesting range of products at the market.
We are looking for craft entrepreneurs, service providers and designers and independent brands.
Payment
Booking a vendor space is binding.
A booking fee is charged for the vendor space:
Ground floor: €250 + 25.5% VAT
Upper floor: €150 + 25.5% VAT
By paying the booking fee by the due date, you secure your vendor space. The booking fee will be deducted from the total amount of the final invoice.
The final invoice is due on 30 September 2026.
Cancellation Policy
If a cancellation is made after 30 August, 50% of the vendor space rental fee will be charged.
For cancellations made after 30 September, the full vendor space rental fee will be charged.
If the cancelled vendor space can be sold to another vendor, the original vendor will be refunded the space rental fee, excluding the booking fee.
If the event is cancelled for reasons beyond the organiser’s control, such as a fire, general strike, war or an equivalent circumstance, or if the organiser considers it necessary to remove a vendor from the event due to inappropriate behaviour or incorrectly declared products, the organiser is not liable to compensate the vendor for any estimated loss of income or loss of the vendor space.
Coronavirus / Similar Circumstances
If the event cannot be held due to coronavirus or a similar circumstance, the vendor’s space will automatically be transferred to the following year.
If the event has to be cancelled, payments will be refunded to vendors, excluding a €35 + 25.5% VAT administration fee.
We follow all official guidelines and regulations in force at the time of the event.
Set-Up and Dismantling
Set-up and dismantling times will be announced in autumn 2026.
Vendor Opening Hours
Vendors are required to keep their stalls open throughout the entire Christmas Market during the official opening hours. Vendor spaces may only be dismantled after the event has officially closed.
If a vendor fails to comply with the opening-hour requirements or dismantles their stall too early at the end of the event, a penalty of €250 + 25.5% VATwill be charged.
If a vendor fails to meet this obligation, the organiser has the right to remove the vendor from the vendor list for the following year, even if the vendor has already booked a space for the following year.
The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the opening hours.
Vendor Requests
We will do our best to accommodate vendor requests. However, the organiser reserves the right to make the final decision regarding the placement of vendors.
